Ademola Lookman

Get rid of not so good and crap players of which we have rather too many and change the direction of our club to emulate Spurs. No doubt they have had some poor players who have been moved on in a gradual process. We have hardly started to empty out the stables.

Surely we have to get rid of the others with no future in this team before we consider selling one of our best young player.

I’m under no doubts we’ll be trying to get rid of all of the players you mentioned. There’s nothing to say we need to sell them before we move Lookman on though.

I will be very frustrated if he moves on, having never played at least 5 consecutive starts for us. I'm not saying he is a great player, but I believe he could potentially become one. I never had this faith in Theo, yet he has often had a run of consecutive starts for us.

This is the problem isn’t it. Putting Lookman under the pool of players we need to sel, and expecting us to bring in someone young and as promising for 20m and English.

I said the same about Deleufeo.
Guess I just like a bit of flair.

This is what has me frustrated too. Maybe the lad isn't up for it but it's so stupid that we've never really taken the chance to find out.

35 million pounds sterling
For what ?
A young player that can't force his way into the Everton team and when he does get a run he just doesn't deliver.
The manager and his staff have seen him now for a full season and if they are prepared to sell then they have seen enough to convince them that for some reason it is worth selling him on.
We have had a moderate season and there were opportunities for all our younger players to make a real name for themselves.
DCL has done so,
Davies not so much but has been given a new contract,
Jonjoe Kenny not so much either and there is talk he will be loaned out or sold but when he played he certainly gave everything that he had and certainly shows the desire needed.
Lookman comes into the same category of not having impressed but more importantly has not shown the desire to force his was into the team.

I ignore all the talk about attitude that you read on fora such as this because nobody knows really.
But, what the manager said some weeks ago was important I feel.

I would prefer to keep the player and hope there is no truth in our reported willingness to sell him, but somehow you just feel it may be true... however, if we are waiting to get 35m then he will be here for a long time yet.

I don’t understand what enjoyment you get by calling him a rat and snake at any given opportunity. I really don’t understand your agenda behind such hate.

Schadenfreude (/ˈʃɑːdənfrɔɪdə/; German: [ˈʃaːdn̩ˌfʁɔʏ̯də] (About this soundlisten); lit. 'harm-joy') is the experience of pleasure, joy, or self-satisfaction that comes from learning of or witnessing the troubles, failures, or humiliation of another.

Schadenfreude is a complex emotion, where rather than feeling sympathy towards someone's misfortune, schadenfreude evokes joyful feelings that take pleasure from watching someone fail. This emotion is displayed more in children than adults; however, adults also experience schadenfreude, but they are just better at concealing their expressions.
