I’d really like to see Lookman on the left and Richarlison on the right. As much as I like Bernard, imo Lookman just has a bit more of a goal threat about him and can shoot off both feet, as too can Richarlison - think that would give us a nice bit of unpredictability going forward.
 
Walcott still contributed 5 goals and two assists last season. AdemolA prefers the left hand side and we had richy and Benard doing the business. Walcott was the only real right sided player.

I would agree normally, but the way I see it is he clearly has talent, he's shown that at RBL, and again we don't know the exact reasons but for me Walcott was under performing near enough every single week, so silva should have really given lookman the same chance Walcott got to perform, not 1 start here and then 4 weeks back on the bench

if he say had 3/4 games in a row of underperforming then silva has got every right to say well you had a chance and you blew it,

weird situation like

It's exactly the same. At some point somebody decides whether you're good enough to play at a certain level. The current management team (and the one before that, and the one before that, and the England under 21 set up...) appear to have made the decision that Lookman is currently not good enough, just like coaches will have done with my neighbour. As soon as you accept they were right about my neighbour you have to accept they were right about Lookman, if one decision could be flawed then they both could.

Walcott is a similar player to Richarlison. Part of our issue was teams adjusted to the fact that they were both trying to do the same things when playing together. Bernard helped stop this but really wasn't very effective in and around the box. Which is why I keep coming back to why didn't Lookman get any chances since his style is close to Bernard but he has way more ability in the final third. I think it would have been worth sacrificing some of the workrate and build up stuff for more attacking threat.

I have yet to see Lookman look a goal threat with my own eyes in the entire time he’s been at the club.
 

Once again if we sell him for a profit who cares? Hasn’t really shown very much and we really need to stop this culture of having players hanging around at the club without really doing much.
