Didn't deny his skill levels.. but being fair to how Lookman is being judged. I can think of loads of eye popping twists and turns and dinks around the half way line... clearly a good player... As always I can't recall bar a couple moments, what he did of note in the opposition box or around it. Then again I don't remember every moment any player has, just my overall perception of what I have seen. I also don't normally respond or debate this much, as I've never seen anyone change an opinion on a forum, even when staring facts in the face... but I just can't connect what I've seen to what seems to be general sentiment.. Lookman I mean with that statement... Done with it now... Each to his own and we have bigger issues to address upfront.

If only Lookman had a better attitude, he'd then be our best winger etc etc. Instead, he's had to move to an inferior league in another country, and probably stil remains on less wages than all of his competitors for a starting place at Everton.

Hoped Lookman would develop into a great player. Has done very little for us and he won't be missed. Can't understand the hype. Not fast, gets the ball messed up at his feet,. Doesn't get into goal scoring positions.
I get that he may not have had many chances on the pitch. But that says more about him. 4 managers never used him. He should have been pulling up trees in training to get in the team.
Wish him look the slower pace in Germany might suit his play. Take the money and get a young hungry powerful forward in

said this to me mate last night, he will 100% move either back to the prem or to a Bayern/Dortmund or so for double what we are getting within 2 years.......not that selling him now
 

Reading some posts on here makes me think that people believe the manager almost had some vendetta against Ademola Lookman , whereas the reverse is true.

The player wanted to leave last summer without ever having worked with Silva. The offer then seems more or less to be the same as the offer now but last year the manager wanted to keep the player and wanted to get the best out of him.
Lookman was given chances, not many but maybe as many as he deserved. When given those chances he certainly did not grab them with both hands.

The player apparently still wants to leave and after twelve months working with him the manager is prepared to sell and the player does not appear to have increased his value at all in that time.

I do not think this is one sale that will come back to bite us.
