The same with Kean. I'm not a fan, but if he turns out to be special it's because he went and played football.

Got to ask why the youngsters ain’t getting a chance then? 20 minutes off the bench each game even, you look at some of the rubbish we’ve had in previous years start games it’s frustrating

True but it's not Sunday league so you can't just give someone 20mins so they can get some minutes.

Lookman had Richarlison, Walcott, Bolasie etc ahead of him. Rightly or wrongly they were senior players and he did get some game time. He just wanted more so left where he did get minutes...which stopped and now sent out on loan.

Same with Kean. He's nowhere near DCL levels for us so will be restricted to game time and went elsewhere.

Wrongly. Starting players because they're older is wrongly. Experience matters but it is only because experience is supposed to make you better. If you aren't better there is no reason to lean on experience.

Lookman was with us for 1.5 seasons and wanted out. He didn't want to stay here and fight for a place, went away, thought he made the right move...and ended up on the bench for RBL. Now they want shut (apparently). So 3 clubs in the same amount of years doesn't seem like everything is quite right with him IMO.

It's the same with say Gordon or Davies. They either stay or go. The player makes the decision.

It's a weird one because he wanted to go back to RBL and the people running the transfers still wanted him, but they switched managers and systems to something he didn't fit in. I wouldn't draw too many conclusions from it.
