He isn't now because they're doing weird stuff because they don't have a good striker anymore. Last season I'd call him an attacking mid.

But none of this really matters because Lookman is a winger and RBL just factually don't use wingers. Lookman is natural as the left side (or possibly the right) in a front 3, the same spot in a three behind a striker or possibly on the wings of an aggressive 4-4-2 (essentially what Hassenhuttl does). RBL really do not do this any of this. So while he might have a position it isn't his position really which makes it both understandable why he didn't play and why he didn't want to hang around.

The positions he is taking up for Fulham this season on average do not correspond to any RBL player best I can tell. The closest is maybe Nkunku but he's still narrower.
 


Some people don’t miss any chance to bring out the negativity do they.

Lookman was poor when he was here. He had plenty of opportunities but didn’t take them. He often looked good off the bench but would go completely missing whenever he started.

We got great money for him at the time.

Nothing wrong with the club on this occasion chaps.
