Just seen the extended highlights as I missed the match, shocking 2nd half weren't we.
Abysmal really, think we thought we had it in the bag and just didn't come out to play. Fair play to Bournemouth though, played exactly how they needed to to get through us and never gave up.

He's not even close to being a success yet, nor is his style of play. Never forget your definition of success, you argued very hard with me over it when Moyes was in charge.. and as of yet we have won nothing under Martinez either.
Success is trophies...that's why I used the words 'in the way we play football'.

How are a) the two the same in your mind? and b ) how am I wrong to suggest that our style under Moyes has been successfully moved beyond?

As with others: have a go at what actually has been stated rather than what you think/wish to have been stated.

Yeah looked very complacent. Bournemouth kept going never got their heads down fair play.

I never said you did want Moyes back. You're responding to things you think is there rather than what actually is there.

The evidence is abundant and that's my point. It's not as if he's been here for two weeks. Martinez has transformed the way we play - is there any doubt about that? How is that in any way a stretch to claim?

transformed - yes
made it any better or effective in real terms - no

Oh

You know that bit where you put... football that gets results.. in your sentence starting of about how Martinez has been such a major success? kind of suggests you were referring to results the football had been getting.

No. I said the style of play has been successfully changed and that it gets us results...in your mind for some reason that's transformed into me saying he's a success full stop.

Reading back, you would think we lost. Ok we threw away 2 points but got an away point.

I'd hate to see some of you lot in a disaster situation, there would be no keeping calm like.

By "results" i take it you mean gushing kopite-esque articles from hacks on the internet who call it "entertaining football".

Everyone else bases results on games won and points gained. On which basis he hasn't relalatively changed a damn thing.

Bruce Forsyth was an entertainer you know.

Lol, forum 'debates' should become a national sport.

We've some real contenders on here. Need some commentary and I think it's a goer.

Strategy, below the belt shots, staying power, all out attack. It's got it all. Expect to see it at Rio in the summer...
