I do not understand the dislike of Kone.
It's not that he is sulking or playing in the reserves every week or having a terrible time like Jelavic.
He is injured and can't play. Yes, he had a poor start but so at first did Jagielka and even Baines spent a long time on the bench with Lescott ahead of him at left back.
He may prove to be a poor signing as can any player,but I will wait and watch him play a reasonable number of games before I make a judgement.
McGeady will prove to be a very good signing for some club...I hope it is us.

I need to see him on loan at a relatively good Championship side before I'd even contemplate him in our first team.
As for this potential you speak of mate, where have you seen him?
I believe Azzurri on here has seen a fair bit of him and doesn't rate him.
By all means loan him and get him some first team football. Very much like Coleman at Blackpool then go from there.
