expires in 6 months we take over his contract and pay his wages instead of them paying. We don't pay a fee. Like Heitinga with west ham mate.

Fans seem to still like him. Cant be all that bad. Never picked up on anything bad..attitude-wise..watching him playing for Ireland over the years.

Some everton twitter account in german seems to mention a 750k fee. Interested to see if this is a freebie or not.

To all those giving out about Aiden mcgeady, what the **** is wrong with you!? Is it his name? Is that the problem? I mean bloody hell, if any of you moanbags saw those mcgeady vids on YouTube but instead he was some Brazilian bloke called LUIS RIVALDINHIO this forum would be exploding with excitement!

I mean, who do you actually want then!? Will we buy deulofeu? Of course not! I love Everton and all but reality check baby! We're not Barcelona or even in the same bracket! Maybe one day we will be but not now! Mcgeady would be an exceptional signing for us, maybe not for barca, real madrid or juventus (altho he would be decent!) but for us he'd be awesome! McGeady is someone who is very comfy with the ball at his feet and running at people. He's a very good player and thats all that matters

What we need now is bodies in the squad and whether he is any good or not McGeady will be a good signing for us for the price (or lack of) quoted around. For all the faults he may have;

Is he a better winger than Naismith?
Is he faster than Pienarr?
Can he make an impact off the bench?

If you answer yes to any of the above then he is worth signing. Granted in my opinion he is not the calibre of player i would like us to be signing BUT right now i care more about bulking the squad out to cope with the remaining games plus all the F.A cup games on top of them.

Worst case scenario is that he is no better in the team than Naismith, so only scoring important goals it will be for him then.
