Ah...glad youre back...any chance of letting me know the details about the 'Kit Bag balls up' to which you referred earlier? We all have opinions to which we are entitled, but you suggested that details were available on this matter...could you let the forum have these details, please?

A very decent man leaves his dream job, but doesnt even leave football, in fact, takes a more stressful job at a worse team, and some people think discussing his former employers is off topic, i find that amazing. Its no wonder a man who has failed to deliver a single thing he promised when he took over is clapped to the rafters with attitudes like this

Sure, but that's putting two and two together and making five. None of the things that have been put into the public domain provide any certainty as to the reason for him leaving.

You could just as easily take the fact that he has been doing a superb job, clearly gets on with the staff he's worked with, why would anyone want to sack him (therefore it must be something else)?

You know? We're dealing with an incomplete set of information here and folks are jumping to conclusions based upon what their particular disposition is.

I'm sure Myers will admit that Bill and Robert have been admirable employers, and that the job opportunity at Blackburn was just too good to turn down. If he doesn't want to embarrass them with praise for now, it's understandable.

Yes more cloak and dagger tactics by our club our PR to the fans is disgusting over the secrecy, and being treated like mushrooms kept in the dark and fed with manure!

We,ve been kept in the dark for 14 years and now we have our 3rd comms dir out the door under an NDA.

Fans have a right to speculate when every employee within the club seems to have signed an NDA.

Yes but that doesn't make any sense does it? It seems a commonly held consensus that our communication with fans this season has been superb.

So on the one hand you're saying that the club have booted out Myers because he threatened whatever kind of cabal they have going on.

Whilst on the other hand you're saying Myers single handedly overpowered that Kafkaesque culture to deliver the wonderful comms we've seen this season.

It doesn't make any sense. Do you think he sat in his interview and pitched the line that he'd continue the dastardly standards of doublespeak, cackling as he left the room before embarking on his mission of transparency and decency? Or do you think he was hired because he pledged to do the job he did?

Is this tabloid mentality or something? No idea about you but I can't imagine anyone in a senior position would be advised to bad mouth a past employer in public. You just don't do it. NDA or no NDA.

Is anyone else bored of this? He stepped out of line and has paid the price. He did a nice job but at the end of the day he didn't score goals or win games so why is everyone making a big fuss about it?!

You do if the conduct of certain board members is acting against the interests of the customers and long term interests of the company surely. The benefits gained to a company by demonstrating strong ethical conduct can be considerable and the better employers will want to see that in their senior employees.

Much like when the ECB sacked KP and told the fans they don't deserve an answer, Everton currently have the same attitude, this might be a business but it isn't marks an spencers, people don't fund it out of necessity they fund it out of passion, and are quite rightly sick and tired of being treated like the under class, undeserving of any answers from the almighty employers, who were born to such rights that we were not, we should know our place, who are we to question these great men
