Alan Myers leaves Everton for 'personal reasons'.

Sigh. Can't we just be sad that as you've said we have lost someone who has raised the profile of the club in terms if community, fans interaction and the badge debacle without bringing Bill in to it.

I know the answer to that question, but have a little bit of rhetoric for Saturday morning.

I know what you mean. It's a hyperbolic and overly-emotive use of language, and constantly directed in a vindictive merciless fashion. In the study of neurolinguistics, this use of language is partly how dictators/cult-leaders are able to gain followers.

It's not used to support debate, this type of language is used to stifle it.

that's my brother he went cause you made him
he was a true blue since birth now shut it

cause he got shat on
mike parry can fxxk off

my brother left because you never new what you had typical efc ...................

Alan Myers' real brother would write a little more intelligently.

Gonna unfollow you now, I thought when you joined late last night that you might have something interesting to say.

Kendall signed as player manager, quickly proving he wasn't able to play in the first team, he may have played for the reserves, probably did, but he did appear in the first team in the 80's
Kendall played a number of games shortly after he took over, once he realised how crap the team was. He greatly improved it. I don't think he played more than a handful of times though. Seem to recall him playing at Notts County in 1983.

They always say don't go into business with a friend. He prob saw a few things at the club he didn't like as a supporting whereas if he was at another club, he wouldnt have cared.

As much as there'll always be the happy clappers for Billy Liar, I believe we might witness a sea change toward him and his fellow carpet baggers if Martinez isn't backed in the summer.
I'd like that to be true, really would love it, but it won't. He's teflon. He's gotten away with so much but because he's the self-proclaimed biggest blue ever, he can do what he likes in some people's eyes. If he makes his financial killing after years of stifling the club, whilst all around are improving off the field, I'll be sick.

I think Martinez might kick up a fuss if he isn't backed like Bill said he would be.

I see Gregg has released his World Exclusive straight from twitter, no mention of the illness.

Last night we saw Parry take to twitter and was swatted like a fly.

Not been a good week has it and I doubt this one will be going away just yet still I expect a flurry of articles on Big Dunc to give them a soft landing.

It's head in the sand stuff mate, a whole litany of adverse decisions contributing to the mediocrity of the last decade lies at the door of BK & co and given what is known this looks another.

It's like owning a shop and the stock goes missing whenever the same guy comes in but you never actually see him thieving sooner or later for the good of the business you've gotta say "sorry mate you're not allowed in here".

It's gratifying to see most fans commenting realise these repeated episodes without "proof" happen too often painting a consistent picture and it's not pretty.

The next step will be a summer transfer disappointment of sorts leading to eventual loss of the best young manager in the game. I'm not having a go mate but if we as fans continue to accept such people running things in this manner we deserve continued mediocrity.

Maybe. But we'll see in the summer. I think the vast majority of people for the first time in years are expecting a very decent outlay of cash in the next transfer window. There will be a lot of propaganda both before the window and during it to dampen down expectations, but there's less and less of an appetite for swallowing BS regarding failure to net spend. Obviously, many now saying they'll reserve judgement until the summer spending is known will fall into line with the club's spin. But more and more wont this time. There'll be a very sizeable shake out of 'board-believers' if Everton dont spend, say, circa £10M net (a joke summer window spend for a club of our size, but enough to placate any potential dissenters).

That extra revenue is on everyone's mind now and the board will have to perform a con-trick of epic proportions to avoid conflict.

This is not a thread about the board, thanks.

I know he's not some people favourite person, I GET THAT, but some would shout 'FFS KENWRIGHT' if the grass was cut too short on the pitch.

If indeed Alan Myers fell out with someone at the club, sorry, but that's the world of work, it happens. People deal with it in different ways.

I'm sorry to see him go, I liked him, but it's done now.

You seem to think I'm happy with this regime.

You are mistaken.

Worked last time, some Batman lights and everyone stood under one bus shelter, pesky govt types and KEIOC saw through the charade.
