Alan Myers leaves Everton for 'personal reasons'.

Parry and the Echo briefing against Myers.

Pretty much case closed on who our sympathies should lie with.

Lackey's and parasites coming out of the woodwork to make sure the gravy train keeps on the tracks.

What a shabby affair.

Agreed. Anything Parry-site is involved with should be treated with disdain, suspicion and complete distrust. The mans an absolute embarrassment to this Club. However, Alan needs to come clean and stop the damaging conjecture and conspiracies.

Er, I assume that HK isin the fHoward Kendall - I apologise if I'm wrong - but I was at Highbury the day he was dropped to fit in new signing Henry Newton in 1970. We got beat 4-0.
He took over as manager in about 1982, so, I'm having trouble believing that he was playing in the reserves in the early 80's. FGS, He went to Birmingham in a swap deal for Bob Latchford in 1974.
Kendall signed as player manager, quickly proving he wasn't able to play in the first team, he may have played for the reserves, probably did, but he did appear in the first team in the 80's

It a shame but should we move on or find out the truth?

Loads of theorists here

Chief conspiracy @davek says it's cos of dem Gerrrrmans.

Its conceivable that he was very upset over the sackings which he has alluded to, I believe it stinks tho. Whatever it was.

People questioning Alan joining another club after leaving are ridiculous. If the mans been forced out of the club, which there is a big chance he has. Then he is out of a job. He has things to pay for, it isn't a lucrative business, he isn't on a players wages he is on a normal mans wage.

He has had a hugely positive effect on Everton, which has taken away from our dubious owners for this season. Of course blackburn would offer someone like that a job when they become available, and of course he would accept because he has no job.

It's really quite simple, there is no suspicious act from Alan, he acted like a man who was out of work would... by getting another job when offered.

Except we cant move on, Bryan. The forces that have just seen off a man who apparently was a great boost to the club's image and a bridgehead to fans still haunts the place...and the underlying fear is there that some pretty unpalatable decision making is in the pipeline.

I can understand Myers now wanting this to calm down, but the genie is out of the bottle. I foresee some pretty big battles ahead after this season is over. As much as there'll always be the happy clappers for Billy Liar, I believe we might witness a sea change toward him and his fellow carpet baggers if Martinez isn't backed in the summer.

What do you know Aaron....as I've said on here before I always get the feeling that you are a bit closer to Everton than you let on? Could be totally wrong, and you may just have a way of writing that gives that impression....to be honest though I haven't seen anything that confirms he's been pushed out. Parry-sites involvement though makes me very suspicious because that Fat Odious Mess only crawls out of his pit when something threatens his meal ticket.

On this subject, nothing yet. I think everything is pure speculation, but i know how how everton work, and i've met Elstone in person a few times.

I also know people who are friendly with Alan, and he came into one of my family members shops often. He loved the club and loved the fans. At first i thought this was because he had been ill in the past few months, on and off.

But clearly it isn't due to that so you have to put one and one together.

No bullcrap at FC Venkys ......which solar system have you been inhabiting for the last 18 months?
If there's any back room politics going on or Boardroom antics and that's Alans reason for leaving then he clearly isn't as intelligent and professional as we all believe.....if there was one car crash of a Club you wouldn't take refuge in its Blackburn.

It smells.....and Alan is helping reek the place out by talking in riddles. For the good of Everton he needs to be very clear why he's left. Difficult to blame the Board and the Chairman when it's all I'll- judged conjecture.

Sensible posts from you mate. Just try to swerve the Parry-site remark, it's a bit cheap. Tho' I agree the little I know about Parry he does come across as a bit sly.

Sigh. Can't we just be sad that as you've said we have lost someone who has raised the profile of the club in terms if community, fans interaction and the badge debacle without bringing Bill in to it.

I know the answer to that question, but have a little bit of rhetoric for Saturday morning.

Fair enough. You'd have a better grasp of what was happening then than me. It's just surprising that he was
still playing for us, or anyone, for that matter so long after having bowed out from his first spell here.
