Super stuff.
Southall would never be employed by the club as he would never be compromised in his opinions. His expectations are the same as our expectations, not the board's setting of expectations.
Do you know what mate.. Is that such a bad thing ?Southall would never be employed by the club as he would never be compromised in his opinions. His expectations are the same as our expectations, not the board's setting of expectations.

You'll get all the 'oh he's a loose cannon..' Stuff.. But he's a proper pro.. And a winner.
I'm not arsed if he's not talking for the fans. Some of our fans are tits anyway ( twitter )It's not a bad thing, but it's a thing he isn't willing to compromise, as you said he's a winner.
Everton don't want a bloke who's speaking for the fans, they want a fan who'll speak to the fans, and tell them select information, to reduce their influence.

I'd love to see these big time fans have a meeting in person with Nev and Dunc.
I have to agree. I genuinely felt so proud of our club, we've improved our image so much over the 7 months now, and we well and truly are a family club, where the kids can enjoy the activities before game, where the entire club from tea lady through to seemingly Director of Communications could be seen with a big smile on their faces.
Alan worked tirelessly to please every blue he could, and even though half the time, i sent him tongue in cheek stuff on twitter, he'd always joke back, and there was a great sense of unity, and pride.
I'm not saying for a second that i don't feel it anymore, i'll always love Everton, but it just stinks of typical Everton this, it was going TOO well, so they took the best thing to come to the club in a long time, and discarded it before people got too comfortable. I don't know where you're gonna get a man who's so passionate about a profession, yet remaining to professional throughout, again though, cause he did a cracking job. Even if you do disagree, you have to thank him for getting rid of the monstrosity called our current badge. He responded to the outcry, and made sure that it got fixed.
Cheers Alan.
He never got the fact Nev Dosent drink..If I had my pick, I'd want to talk to HK.
He never got the fact Nev Dosent drink..
Really worth a read.
management in this country rarely tolerate single minded winners, the moment they think they can get away with it they cut them loose, they want people who tow the lineDo you know what mate.. Is that such a bad thing ?

HK was still a boss player for our reserves in the early 80s..He's seen and been successful on both sides of the coin, that's why I'd want to pick his brain.
That's why Sharpie is still at the club ?management in this country rarely tolerate single minded winners, the moment they think they can get away with it they cut them loose, they want people who tow the line
Oh?Alan Myers isn't an Evertonian.
