2 seasons in and I still havent got a clue what he is? A winger, a midfielder, a wingback?
I might be imaging it, but I'm sure he played in a no 10 role against wolves at home in his 2nd-3rd game for us and played well.

I think we should be actively looking to sell Iwobi. Use Coleman, Holgate and James on the right with 2 new signings if were playing a right sided attacker.

Hes an utter donkey.

Much rather we move to the diamond position and build a super centre midfield than play with wide players.

Yes will be interesting to see how ancelotti and brands build the team moving forward.

Midfield is key for me, you have to be very strong there.

Rumours from Italy that Carlo wants to play a 4321 system? Who knows. Chelsea are playing something similar but Witt a back 5. They have their 2 best flair players behind the main striker.

Now at the stage ancelotti has to stop playing him. You just know the opposition see him on the team sheet and go yes, he wont threaten us. He wont challenge us. He wont get into us. And we can use him as he will switch off at some stage in the game.
Cant stand him playing for Everton. Rather play an enthusiastic kid until we sign someone else.

Honestly at this point I'd rather play Broadhead. Iwobi looked like he was turning a corner earlier in the season and now he's regressed back in to walcott without the goals

He has skill to beat players but is low on confidence and very low on bottle to get stuck in.

It could also be that Iwobi spent a lot of time at RB close to Holgate last night and King isn’t a get back and help out defensively player. Saying that neither is Iwobi. I don’t even know I just trust the manager knows more about his players and when and where to play them than we do.

It was a shame Coleman wasn’t fit. And I know I’ve slated him in the past. But I don’t think they first goal doesn’t happen with Coleman.

we seemed to be a back 4 and then a back 5, but it looked like the 4 defenders didn’t trust iwobi so Digne played more as a left back. Ancelotti’s hands were tied really with the injuries and Chelsea have a ridiculous squad and are in brilliant form.

We did trying and press their 3 CB’s but they always had a extra man with Jorginho or kovicic. It was so easy for them to get out of it. And it if the worst happened they would just play it out to James on the half way line. And Digne would be 20yards off him. Like I said had Coleman been available I think they both would have tried to push up onto their wing backs

He is one of the few players we have who can take the ball under pressure & turn & run with it which is something we need but not sure where he fits in.

But if he can’t get a game in his best position in the team now And with James out, we will also add to this summer. Then it’s pointless having him a squad player IMO.

Especially if we get a RB and right sided attacker, he will drop right down the pecking order

Iwobi a few months ago looked like he was improving to be a useful player for us, he has now dropped off and looks poor, Sigs is the same a couple of flashes in some games aren’t going to make me think he should stay, same with Gomes he’s a tidy player but I just don’t think he is really cut out for this league. Those 3 I have just mentioned I believe our holding us back, a few months back Davies could be added to that list but he had come on a lot since then. For us to move forward we need the 3 gone and replace with player at the level above these Which the likes of Doucoure and Allan are. So I hope this is done in the summer. Then I think we will see much improved consisten performances.

Pound for pound worst signing in our history. Bolasie was abysmal but at least he has a genuine injury to fall back on. To think Brands thought it was a wise decision to spend 30m and God knows how much, probably about 80k a week, on him in a five-year contract. He'll be with us until 2024 when he'll leave for free. The only question is will he beat Bolasie's record for number of loans he goes out on?
