Ancelotti doesn't rate him, you can tell. The big question is whether we can get rid of him to someone like Brighton or Burnley and get back 1/3 to 1/2 what we paid for him.

Cons
Generally not good enough.
He’s a ghost of a players as more games pass him by than he affects.
Haven’t a clue what his best position is.
Can’t cross.
Eating up wages.

pros
Has played well about twice since we signed him.
Will generate transfer revenue when we sell him to Fulham/West Ham/etc

I’m still seeing “he’s a right back” (which nobody in world football said until this season) and “he’s a 10” which is just wrong because he’s put in equally poor performances there. Truth is he’s not even remotely a good footballer.
What games did he operate as a number 10 please

Surely he's played himself right out of contention for a starting spot on Saturday.

Amazing how little him and Bernard have shown lately when given some minutes. They've both been miles off the required level.

If king joins. Obviously he will want to play. But if we get Europe he may see plenty of opportunities at Everton next season. And say he costs 5mil and we can get 12 to 15 for iwobi it wouldn’t be a bad swap.

Bernard, Tosun and kean will also most likely leave. Maybe we can get 50mil Add the wages saved from Bolasie and Walcott. We should be in a good position to attract a top class attacker. So next season, DCL, Richarlison, king, James and New player. Would we need another? With Gordon back out on loan.

Clearly not ready to be starting games.

Seen it all before with the “Play Gordon” shouts. If he was ready and good enough to be starting the manager would be starting him.
I think it’s more to do with wanting to get Richarlison close to DCL and play 2 up top.

King can’t play one of the diamond positions. I know DCL missed a couple of games and king still didn’t get a start. Maybe Carlo just didn’t think he was right for that particular game

I think we should be actively looking to sell Iwobi. Use Coleman, Holgate and James on the right with 2 new signings if were playing a right sided attacker.

Hes an utter donkey.

Much rather we move to the diamond position and build a super centre midfield than play with wide players.

It could also be that Iwobi spent a lot of time at RB close to Holgate last night and King isn’t a get back and help out defensively player. Saying that neither is Iwobi. I don’t even know I just trust the manager knows more about his players and when and where to play them than we do.
