Sorry he made the Brazil team because he was scoring more for Everton you say?

Don't know about you but I would class that as improvement and evidence that we have aided his development.

What level are you holding Holgate and Godfrey to before you will deem them good players? They've both barely been out the team and we are having our best season in ages.

I reckon we could be sat in 2nd place and you'd be moaning that Holgate and Godfrey aren't De Ligt. They're clearly good players, where we are in the league now isn't a coincidence and is a testament to how good they are now which is all the proof of development you should need.

There aren't many players you can pick at random from League One or the Championship that can get a team challenging for top 4 in the prem after a year or two of development. Unless you think there are players that good just sitting around those leagues that will walk in and automatically improve a prem team.
The level I'm holding them to is would they get regular games for most of the teams we want to compete with. The answer is a major no on Holgate and probably no on Godfrey because he has no ball playing skill.

Basically Richarlison's difference is the ball went in a bit more with us. If you want to call that major development go ahead, I see the exact same player. His flaws are still the same, his strengths are still the same and his effectiveness is entirely down to how his finishing goes as we saw in the first half of this season. That was him at Watford too.

Again, what arbitrary subjective metrics are you using to determine who is or isn't a "good" player on your opinion?

I know you aren't using your eyes otherwise you wouldn't be here claiming Iwobi is one of these 5 or 6 good players we have.

Will also say, Iwobi has less competition for his place in attack...and still isn't proving he's good enough.

I'm not claiming Iwobi is. James DCL Digne and then maybe add in Allan Richarlison or Keane. That's pretty much it for me.

I would be curious to hear his 5 or 6 good players.

He doesn't rate Allan, Doucs, Godfrey, Gomes, Rico, DCl, Gomes, Holgate or Pickford, to name but a few.

@TheBigIguana name your 6 players!

The only difference between Watford Richarlison and Everton Richarlison is his scoring droughts haven't been as long. He mad the Brazil side because he hit the net more but that was what he figured to be good at when he signed. Nothing else has improved.

Holgate yes is better than when he was 17 but also not good. Godfrey I don't know, he wasn't great for Norwich for me and he isn't good now either.

These opinions are separate of Iwobi.
You really need a new hobby mon ami.

DCL, James and Digne are definitely good. Richarlison, Allan and Keane I'd say on the balance are all good too, but they have more pressing flaws than the first three.

That's it though.

Doesnt even deserve 2 mins at a press conference.
I despair at Everton. Or more to those who brought him here. He had no future at Arsenal. He was about to get a wake up call that he's not very good he would have to go graft at a small club.
Then Everton stepped in. Gave him a fat contract which in turn continued his deluded opinion that he's a top player on top players trappings and earnings.
He is the luckiest player in world football.
Make the most of it son. As when your Everton contract is up so are you.
You're brentford QPR level.
Thank Everton every single day for your luck.

I wasn't convinced Carlo was putting him in his place until the Pirlo name drop segment. That was definitely a "I know what I'm doing" power move from Don Carlo. Looks like he isnt a fan of IG drama.
