What a crap player, presumably earning a king's ransom for attempting to play football which he is not very good at. He will find his level eventually, maybe league 1 or 2 and will go down as another Everton disastrous signing.

Pound for pound looks to be our worst ever signing.

Walcott and Tosun cost a fair few quid, but at least they had short spells were they looked half decent. Iwobi hasn't a single run of good form ever since we signed him, and it's not like he's not had the chances.

Get rid in the summer. We'll take a massive hit on what we paid for him no doubt.

What annoys me is he will pick the ball up with acres of space to run into or even the opposition penalty area. But he can’t wait to get rid of the ball so just hits an easy pass.

should be running into the box, committing people. No wonder we hardly get any pens.

How about a 100% hit ? We are literally getting nothing for this comedian. All of our games are televised. This bellend is here for the duration of his jackpot contract. Nobody is paying a bean for him.

What baffles me is the thought process and planning that must have gone into the decision to buy him.

It must be fair (surely ?) to assume that we now have a fairly well defined concept of how we want to play, along with a definition of the attributes and skills required of each player in their respective positions to fulfil that style of play.

Iwobi plays now as he always did at Arsenal, so no surprises there at all, in terms of what we were buying.

Either whoever is putting the jigsaw together isn’t very good at it, or alternatively, Iwobi is the beginning of a very long project and we are yet to buy the other bits that he fits in with.

Not a positive first post but want to express my views.

I think he’s in cuckoo land, he must have had something about to to get into the Arsenal first team, but there’s nothing he brings to the team, after getting his huge pay rise to come here he’s oblivious to the negative impact he has to the team and I find it surprising Ancelloti, a manager I fully support, keeps playing him.

The social media post of him getting on a private jet with pure designer gear, like most rappers do, after an adverse season was such a lack of self awareness, and I’ll ever forget when he got subbed off a while ago being the only player with clean shorts and smiling as if he had a great game. Get rid.

Stats, he was bought cos of stats.

The stats said he was very creative or something, I forget now, I've said stats, so CandyOil will be along now.

I suppose the thinking was he was quite young, so he might improve the things he was bad at, which sadly at this point seems like EVERYTHING.

I'm not defending his signing, but I suspect the reason he was bought was cos some stat nerd convinced somebody he was good.
