Nope, I said any success Inter have in big games will be because of the likes of Lautaro.

Flat-track bully Lukaku scoring against the cannon fodder of a glorified SPL standard league isn't news to me. He's made a career out of it.
Hahaha

I keep seeing people write off other leagues in here, then PL teams get beaten by their teams.
Germany and France are farmers leagues apparently, but a German team won the. CL.

This comment is just ridiculous.

Those leagues have dominant sides in them, then the quality falls off a cliff.

Juventus have won the league for the last 10 years. Bayern Munich have won it every year since 2013. In that same time period, the Premier League has had five different winners.

That's just fact. The Premier League is much more competitive.

Scored against:

Barcelona
Sevilla
Shakhtar Donesk
Bayer Leverkusen
Torino
Ac Milan
Napoli
Roma

For us, scored quite a few in derbies, single handedly beat Chelsea in the FA cup.

Bottling it in the big games was an Everton problem, not a Lukaku problem. In this side now he’d be an absolute animal.

I don't know who you think you are fooling but those are literally Pickford's numbers you absolute plank.

For anyone who doesn't believe me go have a look around.

I’m glad you pointed this out. Fair assessment is essential. It gets to the point where some people’s agenda means they stop actually seeing what actually happens.

Some players automatically let plaudits no matter how they performed, and others get criticism no matter how they performed.

Nope, he had the same issue for United, and if you check his stats for Inter Milan last season against the clubs who finished in the top four - Juventus, Lazio, Atalanta - he didn't score a single goal in six games.

I’m sure the premier league is tougher, but the other leagues are not as bad as you are saying.
United dominated here for a long time, and Liverpool before that, but it doesn’t mean the league was bad.
We massively over pay for players and believe our own press hype. If we were that good, why have we won so few European competitions.
I don’t buy the toughness of the league argument, it’s because the teams weren’t good enough.

Because in Italy/Germany/Spain, the top clubs are sensational. Juventus, Bayern, Real Madrid, Barcelona would give City/Liverpool a beating nine times out of ten.

So when you're Lukaku in a second-tier side like Inter but still miles above the rest of the league in terms of standards, you score goals.

Sandro scored goals in Spain, Kean scored goals in Italy - because the gulf in class between the top two or three teams and the rest is akin to the SPL traditionally with Celtic/Rangers.

But to some extent, that's true. Goals are the be all and end all really. It's no different to saying a keeper had a bad game because he made one or two bad mistakes.

Sorry, I just totally disagree with that and have a completely different view on football mate.

The days of the "goalhanger/poacher" are long gone for a reason.
