Or you could just try to tell me what you mean. I just don't really get any of this and instead of trying to be constructive you've gone the sarcastic tit route.Evidently, I'm not on your level.

My conclusion is I'm not sure what the point is (still!) because it starting to seem like it is "some guys make it against bigger odds than those who don't" and all I really have to say to that is duh! Of course!Iwobi was training with Arsenal as a child.
He was afforded all the luxuries of playing within a premier league academy for many many years e.g the top coaches, new tech, sports science etc.
He would have looked both physically and technically at a high level compared to his peers and someone who could be a first choice for Arsenal over many years.
He had all the natural gifts and trained all his life to achieve his goal.
Given a chance under a legendary Arsenal manager he never broke through into the 11 there and moved to Everton where he also shouldnt be in the first eleven or even the squad.
For someone who people would have expected to become a star, hes not been able to become an effective premier league player.
@roydo is surprised by Iwobi and others like him failing while an Irish bloke called Roy Keane had (in Roydos opinion) less technical or physical gifts in comparison...no academy training, no access to high level (or even perhaps professional level) coaching until he got onto a scheme for unemployed people and was signed by Forest.
The point is simply that such a gifted footballer who was given every possible assistance for many years hasnt made it at this level while people like Roy Keane have.
You can draw your own conclusions from that.

Yes but I'm just not sure why so many people feel the need to say this. Everyone knows this is true.I think the point is unrealized potential vs exceeding expectations. Some are born with gifts you can't teach. Others work very hard to overcome their shortcomings to be really good/great.
I view Lukaku in a similar light. If he had the desire to be one of the best ever he could have probably been that. He's made a really good career off of his god given talent, athleticism, and size. The desire to be great just isn't there.
List of players in our current squad who could definitely play that through ball:People saying the pass to Richarlison was simple yet only three players in our entire squad are capable of passes like that and Iwobi is one.
No thanks, this is the mistake weve made every year with most of them and they continue to abandon the club and let us downAs was said last week, all players have a clean slate, Iwobi therefore is having a good season

That your take after his excellent performance at the wekeend? Not a big fan of the line everybody starts with a clean slate. This fella has had enough chances since he got here, we shouldn't be lining up to give him another. Get rid cos he's just not good enough.

Then why don't any of the other ones do itList of players in our current squad who could definitely play that through ball:
James
Sigurdsson
Gomes
Townsend
Richarlison
Gbamin
Keane
Digne
Pickford
Maybe Gordon, maybe Gray, maybe Godfrey, maybe Mina haven’t seen enough of them trying to play forward thinking football yet.
It was a nice pass, premier league footballers are all capable of them, but what we really need is someone who’s going to do one or two of them every match, not occasionally pull one out of the bag.
Michael Keane pulled off an incredible cross field pass that dropped at Coleman’s feet but at the same time his brain fart cost us a goal. Iwobi played a nice pass but also completely messed up a one on one. It’s all about consistency.
