73 games he’s played for us and scored 5 goals and I’m pretty sure 4 of them have come against lower league teams in the league cup … so many comparable with bolasie … 27m no goal threat , has “skillz” , and is basically another over paid dead wood wi her that we are gonna have to loan out and cover his wages until his contract is up
 
Going through the motions. I used to joke about him going to the likes of brentford. I now realise that was an insult to brentford. They are hungry players who want to show it aswell.
This lad will sit here and pick up wages and he couldnt care less where we finish.
Still to see him go into a challenge and really want to win it.
The classic player playing at the right time to make enough money for life.
Is everything you dont want at your club.
Zero hunger to win.

Not sure I agree with that. He doesn’t look like he’s not trying, but very little is coming off for him. As a result he’s wasteful in possession. That’s even more stark when you see the intelligence of Townsend who rarely wastes possession and makes things happen.
 
I have a sneaky feeling Iwobi doesn't have confidence in his own ability. All his team mates say he's skilful etc, maybe a sports psychologist would do him good also.

Thought he was really poor Saturday, while a RB and Centre midfielder is needed you can see how we wanted another winger.

He’s slow, on his heels, presses poorly. Not sure we will get a buyer anytime soon unfortunately

I think he’s just one of those players who’s got a lot of natural ability but doesn’t know how to use it in that you can see he’s got the ability to go on a mad dribble or do tricks but he struggles to turn that into something that is effective in a match situation. Someone like Townsend is almost the total opposite because he looks pretty innocuous but delivers effective performances.

May aswell get a recommendation from his mother. No team mate is gona go oh yeah him. He's sh!te.
Worlds apart from looking ok on a training ground in bibs playing 5 a sides to competitive games where the opposition are all out to beat you and stop you for real. Not training.
 
He's probably going to get another chance at number 10. He needs to play well. I feel a bit for him as if he'd had DCL up front and Richarlison and Gray on the wings he would be surrounded by quality. He needs to come off the pitch knowing he has done his part and if we lose it isn't because he didn't create chances. United should win but I would like to think we can give them a game.

When asked who in the squad is skilful they didn't have to say iwobi, they were the ones who mentioned him not the person asking the question so in this instance you are wrong, totally agree about training n matches like i said above in and around the quoted post
