If he cared why didn't he turn up on the pitch? Baring in mind he had been terrible under the previous manager too.
He left about a week before Rafael, he had to know Rafael was on his way out, he could of waited a few weeks, but no he wanted to go and play for Gerrard and openly said so.

I'd say his time here was definitely far more positive than negative, I don't get how he didn't cut it out at Everton?

Last year he was here sure he wasn't as good but definitely a solid player overall.

I got the impression his objections were more to do with his personal stats than the broader team philosophy…..

Just want him to get into scoring positions, take a punt with a run or follow up on a rebound. He's got everything in his locker to easily get to 8-10 goals a season imo, its just whether he wants to demand that from himself
