Whatever you think of him since Lampard has come in he’s got an average of 1 goal every 20 games in his Everton career. That’s dreadful for any player, especially the one who’s supposed to be the more attacking or creative threat.

I’m not totally opposed to giving him a new contract but let’s be honest it shows yet again what a state this club is in that a lad can be that poor for 3+ years and stink the place out but he has a spell of ok form and we’re straight in to offer a new deal, it’s no wonder so many players and agents have taken advantage of the buffoons running this club for the past decade since Moshiri came in.

He's alright. He's not as bad as he looked for a large portion of his Everton career, and his upturn never made him anything remotely close to the level that some people seemed to think it did. He's a dime a dozen PL player, no better or worse than the majority of midfielders in the league. Going all in on doubling his wages or whatever would be a very Everton thing to do, it seems hugely unnecessary to me.

It's kinda funny but also sad, the only way a player can say they're feeling down about a situation is to post pictures in black and white. Iwobi is posting in black and white over on Insta

Excellent
