I'm confident that this slight drop in Alex Iwobi's good form will soon pass. Not that concerned at the moment, to be honest.

Said weeks ago midfield balance isn’t right. Too flat, either he or Onana needs to get further forward, closer to the centre forward and take some responsibility in the final third.
The reality is he’s a bit of a nothing centre midfielder and folk on here have gone way over the top. Out of possession he looks like a player who played most of his career as a forward, follows the ball too often doesn’t have defensive aggression of Obama or Gana. Going forward doesn’t have the James, Siggi quality pass or goal scoring threat. Runs a lot, has some nice feet, bet he looks good in training.

Not good enough. He’s not a playmaker and doesn’t lead the line and it’s hurting our attack big time.

Even I was amazed at his turn around from 2 & half years of being turd.
The hard part would be to sustain it , but looks like he is now reverting to type.
Terrible again last night , backed out of 2 challenge's very early on and this continued the rest of the game.
He's stopped taking players on & always looking for the safe ball , then misplaces the pass.
Despite what some say he is never a Centre mid , he doesn't have the vision or mindset to play that role.
Was right to be hauled off & will rightly lose his place unless be bucks up.
