He needs to play centre midfield with Gray on the other wing - when he played there he was so good - MOTM on many occasions - he can't cross the ball, but can find a through ball - plus adds pace to our slow midfield .....

Agreed. We just cant accommodate him through the middle and he works harder to cover the full back than Gray does which is why he gets shifted out wide.

Irregardless, his performance levels have been poor culminating in that first half stinker at Leicester. Fair play he somewhat redeemed himself 2nd half.

Couldn't agree more with him. He's just not a very intelligent player at all.

If Dyche is playing him on the wing for his defensive work (as can be expected against Brighton and City) then he has to stay disciplined and not drift inside where he'll inevitably lose the ball
As much as I want Gray on the wing for his attacking ability I think if we have him, Patterson and then Keane on that side, that's a guaranteed loss
Just don't see him playing Gray ahead of Iwobi these next two games, and unfortunately I think that's the right decision.
But he simply must use him as a sub against tired legs.

The application, he's been our playmaker and done very poorly at it, would never question his commitment though, just very poor decision maker.

If he could pass, cross, and make correct decisions to complement his work rate....he'd be a decent winger.
