….I think Iwobi is talented but I never get the impression the game matters to him. I think the lack of application manifests itself in his goal and assist output (you rarely see him busting a gut to get in the box when the ball is on the opposite flank). I’m sure we can get a more effective and productive winger.

Everything points to him seeing out his contract and moving on a Bosman. I doubt he’ll be sold because he doesn’t want to move. I doubt he’ll extend because he doesn’t want to stay.

Screams of going to Saudi next season

He's never been any good and he's getting slower. Get rid asap. The longer we keep him the more reliant we think we'll be as he probably is the main route for us to attack whilst McNeil is out. Before you know it we'll be halfway through the season and rooted in the bottom 3 and it will be too late to change. Harrison is a much better player. Sell him now and recycle whatever money we can get. He's strolled through 4 years of mediocre performances and we have got worse every year.

If only someone was stupid enough to buy him. We cant flog him. A. nobody will pay money for him. B. nobody will certainly match his Everton wages.
He'll run his contract down and then hope a club will pay him a decent wage as there will be no transfer fee.
He has to be, including transfer fee and wages, thee most diabolical signing in the clubs history. Like you say he's strolled through his time here.
An absolute disaster.

I wouldn't say he is getting any slower. He showed great pace v Fulham at times and left some of their players for dead. He just has very little to rare productivity.

With Iwobi's injury, we will become infinitely more unwatchable, our only shred of creativity out of the side.

It's now going to be 100% hoofball, all the time. Can we scrape out a few 1-0s, bundling the ball over the line off 1 of our 3 corners we will get in a game? Slim margins. This is all we can hope for now
If we can take a corner that doesn't go to the back post for tark to aimlessly head out it would be nice

That’s exactly how we played with Iwobi in the team.

If we win 4-0 at the weekend without him, I will take back everything I ever said in his defence.

However, we won't and the defence of him will be vindicated.

Lol, so anything short of a 4-0 humping and that would mean Iwobi is our Messi? A 3-0 win would be below par? At least try and make your wumming somewhat believable.
