We’ve been so desperate and starved of quality for so long that any slight spark or glimmer of light that’s come from him in the last 12 months has been seized upon. He’s been a massive let down, wasn’t trusted by a series of managers and only came to the fore as we shedded players and ran out of money. The sooner he’s gone the better - if that’s for £20m even more so.
