His footballing brain cannot keep up with that energy.think he gets a rough ride
seems to always try to give his best even if it doesnt work out
some of the others should try and match his energy

Talking of Fenerbahce where the hell did they get £13m from for Fred, they normally offer 2 grapes aned a pack of olives. Why would they have to pay £20m? No one has even tested the water with a £10m bid or anything. I think it’s genuinely because no one wants to pay money for him. This isn’t a great reflection on him as supposedly our biggest and best most creative fulcrum.
If by “his pick of clubs” you mean Club Brugge or Fenerbahce then yes good luck to him.
I think it's more so because he cost 30m and has scored 7 goals in 4 years tbhI'm gonna get negged for saying this, but I think a lot of fans don't like him because he looks erratic on the ball.
Alex Iwobi joined an Everton that averaged 7th place. He's one of our better players. At the very least he's trying to create things, but there's nobody for him to pass the final ball to. He gets way too much grief on here and in general. He's occasionally a bit "headless" chicken but you can't fault him for energy going forward and playing like he actually gives a [Poor language removed].
that Gareth bale moment on sat when he took on 2 Fulham players and then crossed to onana. how many of our current squad do that apart from say McNeil. the rest would just stop and pass backwards. He's one of our better players. Well said. Ive been saying he's headless chicken but your description is more civilized. His footballing brain cannot keep up with that energy.
He is definitely a huge factor. You have to run the game through players like Bolasie, Sigurdsson and Iwobi because they are godawful off the ball. These types of players must be destroyed so that mankind can rebuild.Alex Iwobi joined an Everton that averaged 7th place.
Since he joined our average is 16th.
Now im not saying its ALL his fault, but, its defo ALL his fault.
….he’s a talented footballer and I suspect he’s one of the best athletes at the club but that doesn’t always transition itself to being as effective as he could be. I think that’s down to application, I never get the impression football matters a lot to him, winning or losing won’t impact his weekend much.
Iwobi is one of our best players, he continually gets picked but he could be replaced by somebody more effective, somebody with greater output. I imagine he’ll run down his contract and leave on a Bosman next season & I don’t blame him for that.
