Having read up on Allan, it would seem the potential is there for him to instantly transform the whole side.

Without a gaping black hole in the middle of the side, everyone else might actually play better.

I'm so excited about this transfer, I think he may be the highest quality player ill have seen play in for us, in my 20 years of supporting the club.

We could just sign him, sell some and it would be a phenomenal window

No team not with in range of the title has spent what we're about to spend on a 29 year old. It's more risk than most teams take on with almost no chance at the reward. Maybe it works out but this is without a doubt one of the riskiest transfers anyone will do this year.

We need an immediate step change in CM mate. Carlo knows him which massively mitigates the risk , to minimal. He is absolute class. Vital that we get him in.
