I dont get that mate - why does winning something beforehand alter how good Allan will be for us?

Surely if he helps us qualify for Europe or win a trophy its been a worthwhile signing yes?

So you are saying we can have 29 year olds in a team but we can’t sign one 29 year old for 30m because we aren’t good enough yet. Even though that 29 year old will make us better.
But you are fine with signing 27-28 year olds for similar figures (and a lot more)?
And you’d prefer we use a strategy that has yet to be successful as that is the only real way that you think we can be successful?
