I think Allan is a good player. I don't know about the way we are using our limited money in getting him.

Develop a mix by signing young players and letting the ones who are good stay in the side so that they become the experience. Holgate, DCL and Richarlison are all pushing toward 100 PL appearances now.

The younger players we have signed recently havent been great tho.

Im looking more towards Vlasic and Lookman and even the Henry fella.

Buying younger players is FAR from risk free.

If Vlasic was still around Marco Silva would be our manager still (assuming he realized he was better than Gylfi).

Feel sorry for anyone over the age of 30 (Me being one) who looks in this thread. The disregard of having a high level of performance and fitness at the age over 30 is disappointing. I’m 31, not kicked a ball in anger for a few years and could still waltz in that side in CM but we should go for Allen because he’s on the verge of 30. Wow.

But they did have resale value, which I think we made a profit on all 3?? If I’m not mistaken. Should have made more on Lookman if we sold him the first time around
