If hes that good it shouldnt matter who was in the team with him he would stand out for his own performance regardless of the result. What games did he stand out in compared to the rest of the team?

Same mate I’ve watched him all season and struggle to see what others do. Yes he makes a good recovery tackle but literally thats the only thing I can think of, passing isn’t bad but for £30 plus million it’s the least you expect, where anything near £60 million comes from is questionable and I don’t see it myself would be happy to be proven wrong.

I mean is he their captain game after game or did he receive the arm band 80 minutes into a game? I agree probably lost in our team but that’s what I’m going off don’t care what they do on international duty I’d be quite happy if there was never international football. So judging off what he did this season he’s not impressed me in the slightest and feel people are jumping on media speculation and talk of him, James garner has impressed me in fewer games similar age and a third of the price.

So you jump in and say every time i comment on him. I know you are his number one fan so you neednt keep repeating the same reply every time. Whats amazing? Is it the fact some people have a different opinion on a player than you?
I’m afraid that am in the not impressed camp has done nothing to justify the figures quoted, if he can be motm in international games against Sweden and Germany why the hell can’t put in half decent performances in against some of the crap in the PL.

I feel like Onana is a guy to keep around but I am not sure what is his best ultimate role and the team the past year clearly didn't have the other parts to make him any kind of a scoring threat.
The lad is 21 and has the world in front of him.
If he really wants it, he has the potential to go he full distance/ the whole package.
Is he there yet, No! and I wouldn't expect him to be either....
( Remember this is his 3rd country in like 3-4 yrs )
