I'd say it's really important he impresses you. Clearly other teams are interested in him. You're not. GreF evertonian surely the most important thing for

The lad is 21 and has the world in front of him.
If he really wants it, he has the potential to go he full distance/ the whole package.

Is he there yet, No! and I wouldn't expect him to be either....

( Remember this is his 3rd country in like 3-4 yrs )
Ive never said the potential isnt there. My argument is that based on a couple of good international performances and a couple of decent appearances for us he isnt suddenly a 70mil player. As ive asked a few posters before name the games where he was outstanding for us last season and explain why hes suddenly worth double what we paid. Ive seen it all before when these players have potential and end up being nowhere near expectations so why are people adamant that this kids a superstar?

It's pretty clear to me he has everything to become a top player. Few things he needs to work on most notably making the most of his presence (wins a surprisingly low amount of headers given his size) and technical ability.

Yes it would be easier playing in a better team, but good players find a way to make it work such as Declan Rice.

If we had forwards that scored more goals there would be less of a focus on his goals/assists, but it's definitely something he needs to improve on.

I like him, but it's clear he had a bit of a quiet debut year. Still very young & raw though.. plus it's the Premier League. Let's not be so quick to write him off just yet yeah? reckon it'll be at least another year or so until he's 'dictating' games himself.

You say he has everything to be a top player? Then why isnt he doing it in games for us then? Hes 21 not 18 plenty of players are performing at a decent level consistently at that age. Bellingham was doing it regularly when he was younger than him so when is he suddenly gonna stop being hype and start giving us performances? i couldnt give a toss about him looking good in a good Belgium side i want him to perform for us.

You've just compared him to the biggest midfield talent in the world. There's a reason Onana plays for Everton and not potentially Real Madrid next year mate and that reason is consistency.

If he was consistently as good as Bellingham we wouldn't have this discussion cause he'd be long gone. He's for much a work in progress and fan impatience is only likely to hinder that.

Oh agreed completely. The home game v Arsenal set the bar for me - he needs to consistently play like that down the line. Might take another year or two but I think he'll get there - hopefully for us and not someone else.Thats the only really good game i saw him have for us

It was more an age comparison. I dont get the argument hes 21 and should therefore be excused having one really good game a season for us. The point is other players are doing it young and if hes this talent everyone would have us believe then we should have seen more from him last season.
