We all know if he’s sold, the money will most likely go towards balancing the books, and leave us a step closer to something none of us want; Tom Davies starting games for Everton football club.

Year end is June 30th … if he’s sold before the you’re most likely correct, if after then I’d say you’re just being cup half empty

It’s a loan Jesus

You want to moan about a young prospect with a high ceiling when we loaned vinagre last season who barely played

It’s potentially low risk high reward
Not low risk when we need goal scorers now and don’t have huge funds. Plus how will the ACL injury affect him physically and mentally? I’d rather take the cash and look elsewhere.

Happily sell Onana for 50million plus. Really must have missed something with him.

Is tall and powerful, but other than that, not sure what he really brings to the table.....?

20% sell on fee and I’m sure we owe his previous club a significant amount. 55 million won’t go far.

He’s going to be top class one day - unfortunately probably not want we need now. We are far off being a club that can afford to give the likes of Onana time to thrive.

sell him and we are even worse of than now
In an ideal world then yes keep him in the hope he morphs into the player he thinks he is next season.
But we need cash now just to tread water and hope we can get an extra 10 points or so next term. otherwise its groundhog day for us again

He’s the highest potential player at the club by a mile. I find it ridiculous that some expected him to come into the prem at his age and boss every match from day 1. He’s gonna be a top top player in a few years. Sadly, I’m not sure if we can afford to keep him that long.

If the offer is 60+ then we should consider it. If we can make a 20 million profit season after season it will help enormously with the rebuild. However if he wants to stay and we can afford to keep him (by that I mean pay for the forwards we need without the money from his sale) that is also fine. If we improve this season, he will look better and should be worth just as much if not more next summer.

Sell him for 60 Million, and have the next one in the door the next day for 10-12 million. Sell him for 60 Million and go and get the next one. It's the way out of our financial trouble and a way to make constant improvements to the team
You make getting six times your investment on player punts sound easy!
