Whether he could be used differently or not I think the important bit of what he's saying there is that we should judge him on what he's actually supposed to do not on what we might want him to do I said the other day the same used to happen with Lukaku when people decided he should be like Drogba and judged him on that instead of judging him on being like Van Nistelrooy which would have been a better comparison. People see Onana as a big strong player and say he should be bulldozing everyone and playing like Yaya Toure but we're not asking him to do that and I don't know if he could anyway.

I want to see him play in his correct position. The position he played at for Lille. And the position that got him a big move to the Prem and into the Belgium squad. We are not playing him correctly and he's underperforming because of it.

He's quite frustrating to watch in all honesty. I thought he was fantastic in the first half, and then barely involved in the second half. He needs to start being more consistent across 90 minutes, rather than just playing for parts of matches.

His form dropped off when Doucs got back into the team and his role then changed to a more deeper role, without much advancement, and with Doucs as the box-to-box player.

They want 45m for McToshinay, so if they value him at that, I would want 80m.

Wouldn't actually be a bad deal in fairness. Maybe bump it to £60m + Maguire. I'd be open to selling him for the right price to be honest, I don't think he's that irreplaceable. If we could sell him and bring in a CB, CM, Winger and CF for basically the money I'd take that deal all day long.

He can have a decent Euros next year and his value can shoot up. Keep!
