There is no way this isn't FFP related though surely? Why would we sell now from a football perspective? We saw with Caicedo last year that it's always more beneficial to hold out from a financial point of view.

From a FFP perspective there’s no difference between selling Onana this window or on the 30th of June like we did with Richy. As others have said if there’s an urgency to sell it would be for cash flow reasons.

I think Onana's ceiling is loads higher than Garners I like Garner but he's just a decent allrounder Onana has got a lot more potential. Selling players on is part of the cycle for us so hopefully when he goes it will be for good money.

Not sure mate, maybe athletically yes, I genuinely think Garner has got vision though, in a few years he's going to be able to read the game so we'll, you can see it in him now.

I just think we can sort of manage without Onana starting, for me we defo miss Garner more.

Don't get me wrong I'd love to keep him and its heartbreaking we can't hang on to any decent player and build around them, but I genuinely think, pickford, garner, branthwaite all more difficult to replace than onana

I can totally see why people think we would sell him without a replacement, but we really wouldn't.

And until decent sources suggest it he's not going anywhere.

You might want to tell the PL that because they don't seem to agree.

The PL do agree that we havent been close to breach for years. The commission themselves said so.

I think Garner and Onana must stay unless FFP has us screwed. They could be the central duo here for years if we can hold on to them. Botha values is yet to rocket but I think they will
