Not ideal but not like it would be impossible to do a deal during the tournament either.

Very often the September deadline is during an international break so players take medicals/sign the paperwork at the training camps.

To be fair to Lukaku, he was pulling up trees for us. True, he still oversold himself because his career hit the skids at United, but we all understood that Lukaku was a level above our ceiling at that time when he was with us. This fella, however, is a chancer. He's done nothing for us and fancies himself as some form of Patrick Vieira. I'd sell him in a heartbeat, but I don't think there are as many suitors as his ego might have imagined there would be.

Compare to Branthwaite. The media knows he's good enough for a move. Onana? Tumbleweed.
 

Im still happy enough to see him go through the door first if its crucial we sell before end of june. Not bothered about his comments really.
Will there be any of his money left for purchases?? God knows.

Out of our 3 most sellable assets, he's the one I would sell. We know we have to sell. We should all hope he has a fantastic Euros. The more we get for him, less need to sell Branthwaite or Pickford. More chance of actually buying someone

Knowing our luck he’ll get injured and then no one will want him.

Becomes a world beater in the future. It's the way of things. Not denying he's hardly pulled up trees here but he's raw, got bags of potential and likely not suited to Dyche style of play. In my opinion.
