The fact that an ageing Gana was better over the season says it all for me,if we can get a profit it'll have been good business. Hope he does well with his next team.

He's had an excellent Euros for me.

I honestly think he's got huge potential, the ceiling is very high on how good he can be.

However, he doesn't work at Everton. The way we play isn't to his strengths and that's why I'm happy to sell him. Not quite hit those levels I'd hoped when he first came in.

Ultimately, we've got to get into a habit of buying players and selling for profit and he'd represent exactly that.

He's been like a worse Thomas Gravesen for me, loves trying to get the crowd going rather than doing what Gana does, which is win a tackle which actually does get the crowd going. Was always using us as a stepping stone, which is fine,but the time has come to move on. Hopefully he'll show more consistency when he makes it to the "big club" he's always wanted.
