2023/24 Amadou Onana

He's only been potential for us and not substance. So really the new guy Tim just needs to be a competent player to replicate what onana has done for us. Anything over 50 million would be good business bearing in mind we will need to pay off lille for the sell on.

We would surely need another midfielder to replace him.

I'm not so convinced we'll get another starting midfielder to replace him given the fact he was used more as an option off the bench towards the back end of last season. Maybe the club think Tim can fulfil that role?

Hoping Tim is more the Gomes replacement. Still think we are a body short there if Onana goes.

That's why I said starting midfielder, mate. We'll deffo be short of a body if Onana leaves, but in regards to starters I just feel Dyche likes Gana + Garner. Anyone who comes in will be the sort who doesn't mind being rotated, not a huge signing.

I think Doucs will be his replacement since Ndiaye is about to take the 10 roll.

I hope not. Ndiaye's flexibility COULD shift Doucs to the bench, McNeil central and Harrison to his preferred flank. Ndiaye has a good understanding with Gana playing out wide for Senegal, you see. We might even see all 3 switching positions, something Doucs can't really fit in with.

No it wull be garner and gana and hopefully we get another decent CMid so doucoure is 4th choice at best
That’s what I said. It’s going to be Gana, Garner, Tim and Doucs covering the 2 cm positions, while doucs probably will also be the backup for Ndiaye.
Going to be really interesting to see if Dyche is able to change the starting xi from last year and trust the new players coming in. (like Ndiaye for Doucs)

Be interesting to see how he goes against France, which is much more like Prem level than the games so far, where he has looked solid if not spectacular.
