Apparently he's an asset. Just take what money we can and get shut.
Let's be honest with ourselves here, would we even get what we paid for him. Based on his performances his value has surely diminished. For me he doesn't look like he'd have the stomach to roll up his sleeves and battle for the team going forward.
If he is still here come September, considering he's already had a run in with fans, I fear for him and us.

I don’t think Dyche knows how best to use him and I don’t think Onana goes onto a pitch understanding what he’s meant to be doing really aside from breaking up play with slide tackles. We need to get him far more involved with the ball because when he gets it he’s one of the few that can make things happen due to his ball carrying ability. The pass he made for Maupay was lovely and it’s really frustrating that he isn’t doing that consistently.

There's been an undercurrent of racist attitudes towards the lad so it doesn't surprise with some of the bigots that follow the team are now being more open about it. How often do we see black players accused of laziness before other players, their lifestyles and social media posts analysed in far more scrutiny. The good honest hard working pro trope is almost universally directed towards white players.

There is a seriously nasty undercurrent to this fanbase and shouldn't be routinely dismissed as a minority. Its a game of footy ffs.

I don’t think anyone who question his strolling come to such conclusion because he is black. You’re taking it too far. Gomes and Schneiderlin were slaughter for similar lack of effort far worst than this kid.

I'm getting to be embarrassed to be associated with this fanbase in the last year or so. Used to be a thing to be proud of not so long ago.

Don’t think he did any worse than the rest today, esp considering he ended up being moved back to help shore up calamity Keane.
I saw quite late he was berating Keane for playing it sideways to Tarks rather than forwards to him. Looked very much like he was frustrated and desperate to try to claw something back from an all round bad day at the office.
