Not one American owner has bought into a club that wasn't already a top level outfit and built them up.

Middle Eastern owners have built City, PSG and now Newcastle

Thai/Chinese owners have done well at Leicester and to a lesser extent Wolves.

Russians with likes of Chelsea and very briefly Monaco.

Yet most of the PL are owned by Yanks.

The answer is NO - they buy into clubs to milk them for profit with little intention to win stuff or connect with the clubs history/culture.

Imagine spending hundreds of millions with the expectation of a return.

We've not sold our soul to a country looking to buy political influence through giving us football favours. Moshiri wasn't sportswashing.
You don't think he was washing russian money for Usmanov? Really??? Do you really think all the deals his mate Kia and other characters inspired were solely for Evertons interest? Can you actually explain were all the money has gone and why?
Becuase nobody else can

I don’t think there is that much yank interest. Crap media outlets like the Echo are just providing updates on ‘Bloke that had no chance of acquiring Everton buys much cheaper alternative club that nobody has heard of before’. The interest sounds just as blag as it did in the summer.

When i read this I genuinely wonder if youre making a poor wumming attempt or are actually incredibly stupid.

Whats the 3rd option?

I'm sure if there really was any serious and firm interest in a formal takeover, most of it would be signed and sealed behind the scenes long before the press got to jibber-jabber about it for months, at length, with zero substance. Serious people don't try to buy a football club through tweets like that Spotify gimp did with Arsenal.

No, I'm incredibly correct, if I'm wrong remind me how much we have spent and how good our squad is for it.

He's an incredibly stupid WUM?

Yeah but I'm right with what I'm saying, just that people don't like the truth, they don't want to believe we're in the mess we are.

Imagine a billionaire accountant thinking that this would be the best strategy to launder money for Usmanov.

Or imagine that @4737carlin doesnt quite grasp the concept nor purpose of money laundering.

...its a tough one lol

See you can't answer the question, weres the money? How much have we spent and how much is the squad worth?
Considering your one of the ones who has made a fool of himself for 18 months on your opinion of Iwobi, are you now saying we got him at a bargain price?
Your a nice kid Zat, but you got to learn to debate and answer questions when you take people on.

Wait. Are you suggesting that because we have made some poor player purchases, it means those transfers were a means of money laundering?

Moshiri is the best owner we've had since the Moores and perhaps even stands above them. If we had any other people in charge we would still have no sign of a new stadium and we would have eventually gone the way of the dinosaur, drifting further into irrelevance.

I'm not going to give him credit for having money...if it was actually derived from football, maybe. If he was interested in the club, wanted to be it for the long haul and was also somewhat knowledgeable about football he'd have taken a much more measured approach from the beginning in terms of recruitment, and also told us why. His tenure has only convinced me he's here to make a return and possibly come off as a genius, provided all the ? he threw at the wall stuck.

Not trying to be ungrateful, he actually got the new stadium rolling...but I'm not convinced of any genuine football intent due to his actions elsewhere.

Oh, and to stay on topic..."no" to American involvement unless it's somehow from someone who's spent at least 20 years living in the UK.

It's too late at night/early in the morning to try to work out if you are having a laugh or not...
