It's irrelevant, isn't it? Are they going to be richer than those that own City or Newcastle? Our own revenue is way behind that of Spurs, Arsenal, United, Chelsea et al.

It's the same with the new stadium. Sure, it's bigger than Goodison, but it's still way behind the stadia of the teams we're trying to overhaul, so it provides us no relative advantage over them at all, it just reduces a tiny bit our disadvantage.

The answer may be, that they run the club more efficiently.

Not one American owner has bought into a club that wasn't already a top level outfit and built them up.

Middle Eastern owners have built City, PSG and now Newcastle

Thai/Chinese owners have done well at Leicester and to a lesser extent Wolves.

Russians with likes of Chelsea and very briefly Monaco.

Yet most of the PL are owned by Yanks.

The answer is NO - they buy into clubs to milk them for profit with little intention to win stuff or connect with the clubs history/culture.

I mean my answer is no too mate. But Manchester United and Liverpool grew their brands and won trophies under American ownership.

Enjoy your relegation battle, it's exactly what you want, me, I preferred us in the top half of the table but I guess I'm in the minority

Evidence is all there, the two seasons before Moshiri took over we were 11th and would have finished below that the following season had it not been the first thing he had to do was sack Martinez so we could actually get a win on that last day.

By the way if Moshiri hadn't have come in we wouldn't have been able to get rid of Martinez due to the contract Kenwright gave him, so we would have been downhill all the way. You live in an alternate reality my friend.

But wouldn't you just like to be Leicester City good, though? At an ace new stadium? I understand that we well probably never be at the top table again but we have to try and change things somehow to get further up the greasy poll.

Dunno. We've got a whole bunch of people striking to get more income and we're spunking several hundred million in order to get the 7th place trophy. We're nothing more than extras now. Cannon fodder to enable the Haaland's and Messi's of the world to say how amazing their stats are.

them lot were an absolute mess when FSG took over.
they made good appointments and won the league and European cup.
prob not what you want to hear like.

and was the problem at Arsenal Kroenke or Usmanov/Moshiri.

even that fella from Jacksonville has Fulham running well.

Liverpool were a regular european side prior to FSG and had also won a Champions League, FA Cup and League Cup prior to FSG coming in.

Arsenal were regular PL title winners as were Man Utd.

But they don't though thats the thing.

They typically spend what they make and clubs like us dont make much.

We need a benefactor who pumps Moshiri type money in but also ensures that money is spent wisely so we dont end up in the mess we're in now.

I would imagine they'd have to pay Moshiri some money before he hands over the keys.

Sounds like you have hit the after Christmas blues early Bruce. You are of course correct though given the situation and regulations in play. We need a state type benefactor who will give us massive amount of sponsorship. This probably won't happen but it's not all doom and gloom, if we sort ourselves out a cup might be possible.

You don't think he was washing russian money for Usmanov? Really??? Do you really think all the deals his mate Kia and other characters inspired were solely for Evertons interest? Can you actually explain were all the money has gone and why?
Becuase nobody else can
But the Saudi situation is different. They want to do well by football fans so they essentially have people waving Saudi flags at games, and an army of online warriors to defend them with 'what about-ism' when ever there name is mentioned next to a human rights issue.
