It bewilders me that people genuinely hold it against him for leaving to Real Madrid - he is not a boyhood blue that always dreamed about managing the club one day. We pulled off a coup by bringing him in, and should be proud that we got to enjoy him for a bit, albeit shorter than we'd hoped - what he has done with Madrid this season shows that he is an elite coach who thrives at that level.

Sorry, why? We finished mid table twice. He’s just another manager that managed us for a short time and then left. What he’s done elsewhere in his career doesn’t impact my opinion of his time at Everton one bit.

Definitely think he would have won something for us if he had more time. Took klopp three years to get a much better Liverpool team consistent. Actually remember many of their fans wanting him out until that UCL cup run in 2018?

These are more symptomatic of what's held us back in my opinion. You have said we should be ruthless and he's against us because he left, but then bemoaning that he did just that and left a shambles of a club that is skint to return to a team where he had unfinished business, has just completed the 5 top league trophies and is in another cl final. That is what we should be aspiring to.

carlos would know more about what a [Poor language removed] show of a club we our behind scenes. A bette r e run club he might have thought sod goimg back to real mu with the pressures it brings, could only be there few months. better stayinf where there is stability and chance of doing something
