He’d go back on loan somewhere else then or if Valverde is replaced à return to Barça

Similar happened with Rafinha at Inter.

As is often the case, player has a say but final word rests with the club

‘At his age’ makes him seem like this would be his last move. I hope all this «Gomes will for sure sign for us» positivity is on the ball, but I worry we’re a bit naive.

I’m afraid in this instance you are totally and utterly wrong
I know Barca are a big club but if Gomes refuses to go on loan what will Barca do ?
Nothing they can do ?
Wether you accept it or not the player has the power and Barca will take the money

They totally wrecked his confidence
Messi publicly said he wanted him sold
Barca were hawking him around trying to sell him
I don’t think he gives a fiddlers elbow what Barca think

Hello phone call for contract dave...It appears to be from Catalonia they don't want some lad called Gomes and said we can have him, off you pop lad...
