Let´s be honest, he´s a player who was absolutely awful at Barcelona. We all got carried away off the back of a few games here rather than waiting to see if there´s any consistency. He´s really struggling right now.

Much as I like Gomes, he definitely needs a rest, no pre season due to an injury is starting to tell. One thing I've noticed is we haven't enough nasty players in the team who can battle back. We almost always seem to get bullied, would like to see McCarthy given a go at least he will win his share of fifty, fifties.
