I think gomes was offered to us, he was meant to leave permanently but got injured in pre season. I highly doubt brands went after him knowing he would be injured for a large part of the season.

He's got a hamstring injury ffs

He was back in training and he pushed himself a bit too hard to get fit. He doesn't have a bad injury record really, it's just a niggly one that you have to be careful with.

Supposedly due back in training after the Fulham game, so ideally he'll be in the squad for the game we have on the 6th, whatever that is.
