No mate that ain't the rules for when anyone plays against us. That's the rules that we have to abide to but not anyone else

Can't believe it. Although I can. Sons lunge resulted in a broken leg, it was reckless, cynical and from behind. The severe outcome must be taken into account. I would have no problem if one of our players got a ban for a tackle which resulted in a broken leg for the other.

Have you seen the actual reason giver for overturning it? I couldnt find anything, other than the original PL reason for the yellow to red decision.

It was a tackle from behind. It (demonstrably, in the most graphic way possible) endangered an opponent.

That’s the literal definition of a red card. It’s not complicated.

No. VAR didnt give it, ref did. From what I saw anyrate. Thats why I am interested in the reason they gave. Or will give.

Well in that case ALL footballers are cos we have all made rash challenges.TBH, it was not even a bad challenge compared to most.

A challenge/ tackle usually involves a ball. Son was not going for the ball he went for the man simple ....Shi€house simple.

The hypocrisy in here! For years, we've been banging on about having a "snide" in midfield. Someone to get stuck in and make it rough for the opposition. Someone to pick up tactical bookings. Different now is it?

I don't condone what has happened, but if we were 1 nil up in a must win game, we'd all be calling for the same tactical foul. No one wants to see a leg break, but unfortunately, it happens.

I can't see them giving a proper reason, ever – the Prem hates having referees made accountable, that's why they disapprove of Ref Watch on Sky Sports News.

As far as i though ref was giving yellow,but changed to the red after been give info from VAR or were ever,so if what i thought was right,like you say they overturned there own decision to give the red,nothing makes any sense any more on nearly everything lol
