Doucoure is the only midfielder to have played more than him this year. It's Allan's persistent injuries that worry me.

Allans a decent footballer though.

In hindsight, Gomes just seems to get knocks or injured reglarly without being out for huge amounts of time.

Offers nothing for me. We win that game with Allan and Doucs tonight regardless of that shitshow upfront.

Mixed bag for me gomez always looks like he can do more like theres a decent footballer inside there wanting to burst out and play. he sees somethings on or space to run into takes a few strides instead of the forward ball or carrying it he has 2nd thoughts puts the brakes on passes square to davies or backwards to keane.

Same old story. Some people are still blaming the injury despite his poor performances prior to it and still suggesting that he could somehow become a footballer if he stood close to better footballers. Barca anyone?

I don’t think he’s cut out for the PL. I think you’d see more of what he can do in La Liga but he hasn’t got any of the physicality and quick thinking required for this league
