Regarding the injury, a strong part of his game used to be shielding and running with the ball and transitioning play but he very rarely runs with the ball now, that has to be scar tissue from being snapped, I can't think of any other reason.

Been a nice break from watching him stroll around doing his usual sideways passing and slowing the game down routine.

Hope he's on the bench tomorrow although I imagine he'll start the game.

He's been in great form recently.

Stick to scoping out schools you utter danger.

If him not giving away daft pens/free kicks in dangerous areas and actually passing the ball forward once in a Blue moon is great form no wonder our expectations are so low when it comes to the midfield.

He's bang average - if he was called Andy Jones and not Andre Gomes he would have been hounded by now.

Hes way too inconsistent to be useful as a first-teamer for us.

But that doesn't mean he hasn't been in recent decent form.

I just honestly dont see anything about him mate - doesnt score, doesnt assist, creates very little, slow on and off the ball, cant tackle or press well. I mean Siggurdsson gets pelters yet does twice as much as this fella.

He's dined off a hand full of solid performances in his first season for near 2 1/2 years now.

If Gbamin comes back fit / FFP is watered down and the money is there him, Coleman and Iwobi have to be the 3 to be immediately upgraded on imo.

I don’t really remember him doing a lot of running with the ball tbh.

If the only bit of business we did in the summer was sell Iwobi I would consider that a great transfer window.

And if people hate Gomes, they would despise Rabiot.

It’s a coping mechanism to pretend the injury has finished him. Broken ankles don’t finish players.

people saying the same about bolasie and his injury and ignoring the fact he had 30 career goals in about 8 seasons as a footballer and that included playing non league and for dag and redbridge...
