He's just not cut out for the hustle and bustle of the premier league. He constantly gets caught flat footed. Opposing managers will be telling players to close him down the second a pass is even hit in his direction.
It might sound basic, but I'd consider telling him to hit as many long balls as possible when we do need to use him. No arsing around. No passing backwards. Hit long first touch passes into the channels for either/or DCL and Richy.
His long ball aren’t as good as you think. We should just forget about him and play Donny.

The only reason he s playing at the moment is because we have no one else fit enough to play in that position, he played better against Brentford because they mostly sat back and gave him plenty of space to operate in,even then he made plenty of poor passes gave really stupid free kicks because he just hasn’t got the energy or more important the aggression or bottle to get stuck in, patently obvious that he not suitable to play in the premier league.

I think a lot depends on the availability of Mykolenko. If he is not available we are trying to squeeze someone else into that position and may be forced to go with a back five again.

Probably go for Kenny, not ideal but a better option than, Coleman, Townsend or Branthwaite. The caveat to that is play patterson RB in a 4 and get him to play as a wing back, he’s got energy, pace, good going forward, apparently.
And Kenny can be a little bit more defensive,
So we can have 3 back most of the time and especially as their best player is in his side
