We really were the definition of a company run by the clueless descendants of the founders. It's like we handed Edward II the reins of the club. Which is weird, given that Moshiri amassed a fortune on his own.

I don't think he's an idiot so much as that he was out of his depth, had too much ego to realize it and was poorly advised. I can't even hang all of the whole thing on Kenwright. It's like Moshiri got rich without ever reading Machiavelli's take on 'yes' men through good fortune, then squandered a good chunk of the proceeds learning a painful lesson. Now he wants out, which is what a sensible human being would do after shedding the blood he left on the floor.
You know them emails you get, I'll give you £500 if you let me pay £1m into your bank account.... thats how Moshman amassed his fortune.
A lot of Rubles for cleaning dirty oil and gas money

Wonder if we contemplate paying off the last part of his contract if he doesn't get the Turkey move like we did with Gbamin.
We did no pay a penny to gbamin for his last year of contract or so we are told...I wouldn't pay gomes off...if somebody wants him, they can pay his wages in full. Otherwise back ASAP with the groups and working hard as he should be especially when you get pay 100k plus a week.

I take one leg gomes before Xeka...that for sure will be a waste of wages.
I dont much about Xeka, ill admit, but having watched a few clips, he could be exactly what we need. Someone who sits deep and reads the game without chasing everything that moves and getting dragged out of position, giving opponents massive gaps to exploit, and someone who can seemingly tackle, pass, dribble and shoot.

On a free transfer, seems like a no brainer, especially if we sell Gomes.

But like i say, i am basing this off Youtube, so could be way off.

Rather we just used Onana as a 6 and saved the money for a new signing in Jan.

One is inclined to concur on this one.

Very much feels like our midfielders are lumped into the centre of the park and not really given specific instructions, hence why we find Gueye constantly (although thankfully less this season so far) taking ridiculous pot shots with his left foot that fly 15 yards over the bar, or see Onana drift towards the left wing, etc.

Take Gueye out the side, sit 'nana in front of the dee-fence, and Garner at the heart of the side to put his foot on the ball and either play it wide or look for through balls. If we need a third, I'd go for Duke as he's at least proven he can get into scoring positions and actually convert them, as much as he is often a hindrance to the side. Rather him than Gueye. That's one sitting, one creative, one attacking.
