of course we need to sell, he could prove us wrong by bringing in someone now but every paper, every website, and every "source" says we will only go back for players like moutinho once AJ has gone.
 
According to the sun, as reliable as they are, the deal is done £8m rising to £11. Dunno how much to read into this but its probably the most convicting thing i've heard...

According to the Guardian it's £5.5m rising to £13m with most of the money paid sooner rather than later. I hope to god this isn't true. Johnson's worth as much as Ashton, who has a much worse injury record, and is valued at £18m.

I'd hate to see us do that. They were willing to pay 11mill flat out or at least 8+mill anyway. £5.5 raising (supposidly based on appearences) to £13mill is piss poor if its true. What if he gets injured? We wouldnt see a penny.

He's worth 7-8mill. He was overvalued at 12mill. But he's still a £8mill player that, on his day, will get you 15 goals a season.
 
To be honest if we have accepted anything less than £8mil rising i think thats a clear indication we need the money more than we are letting on, whether its because we have our eyes on pricey targets or we were short on cash to start with but I cant honestly see us standing for that. If other teams were interested at the £10mil mark im sure they would pay £8mil even with fulhams doctors reports, maybe we need the cash to see off this moutinho bid?
 
Now what is holding up the AJ deal?? Fulham have just signed 37 year old goalkeeper Pascal Zuberbuhler from nowhere yet it is now 9 days since AJ was initially supposedly to sign for the cottagers.
