I'd hate to see us do that. They were willing to pay 11mill flat out or at least 8+mill anyway. £5.5 raising (supposidly based on appearences) to £13mill is piss poor if its true. What if he gets injured? We wouldnt see a penny.

He's worth 7-8mill. He was overvalued at 12mill. But he's still a £8mill player that, on his day, will get you 15 goals a season.

To be honest if we have accepted anything less than £8mil rising i think thats a clear indication we need the money more than we are letting on, whether its because we have our eyes on pricey targets or we were short on cash to start with but I cant honestly see us standing for that. If other teams were interested at the £10mil mark im sure they would pay £8mil even with fulhams doctors reports, maybe we need the cash to see off this moutinho bid?
